Electrathon Car battery Regeneration?
Our school has an electrathon car that we race. I am the driver this year (smirk ear to ear). I want to incorporate brakes that regenerate the battery when it is coasting. The concept is that we have 2 batteries and we race around a track and see who can complete the most laps in 1 hour. Only 2 batteries are allowed and they can't be swapped. We need to find a way to regenerate power without creating much drag. Other ideas have included solar panels and windmills on the car, but I have asked around other schools in the area, and one school does this brake regeneration. I wouldn't ask the world on here, but they are unwilling to share their secret.
Also, if you can help by telling any modifications we can do to increase the speed, it would be amazing. Here is a link to the car we have:
